AFTER THE RESTORATION WORKS, IT IS NOW

PARTIALLY REOPENED THE ROMAN VILLA OF CASALE

The restored and definitive part of the Roman Villa of the Casale (World Human Heritage), has been opened to the public, even if it has not still finished in the central part of the apartments.

So now the visit will be only of the areas of the previous tour,but with the inclusion of some restoration works such as:the Triclinio,the  Xistus, the south apartments, the restored thermaes, the gymnasium, the Orpheus room, the entrance circle porch with the fountains,the north apartments, part of the corridor of the Big Hunt, the peristyle and basilica mosaics, where it will be possible for the first time to see in the inside the original floor in precious marble with geometric designs (Opus Sectile).After, depending on the restoration works, the visit will be extended and moved to others areas.
